During Carl Buhler's Air Force career, he served as the USAF "Thunderbirds" Maintenance Officer (97-98 seasons) and in several senior aircraft maintenance & munitions positions. He also deployed to Operation Desert Storm’s cease-fire phase, Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) & Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
