Jenette Morell was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, which is an hour from both Cleveland and Pittsburgh. She attended Youngstown State University, majoring in political science and world religions. Upon graduating Cum Laude with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, Jenette went on to attend the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio. She completed her J.D. in 2019 and passed the Uniform Bar Examination in 2020. Jenette caught the political bug in 2015 when she worked for Congressman Tim Ryan. As she completed her education, Jenette served as a Law Clerk for the Senate Committee on Banking Housing and Urban Affairs where she assisted the Committee with regulatory compliance investigations. Jenette took a break from Washington to move to New York City to continue to work in financial regulatory policy but could not stay away from Washington, DC for long. She found her way back and was the first member of Vita’s Government Relations team. Jenette likes to unwind by cooking and entertaining for friends, and takes pride in her spice collection. An avid sports fan, Jenette roots for all teams Cleveland and is an unapologetic Browns supporter. On nice days, you can find Jenette at the driving range. She resides in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC with her rescue dog, Roman.
